Dame Claudia Trimde is a tech entrepreneur, publisher and author. She makes the new understandable. On 17 February 2024 she was knighted Dame Knight of the Guardia di Pace in an investiture ceremony at Erfurt Cathedral (Erfurter Dom), conferred by Guardia di Pace Germany and the CCCi (Assisi-Malta). Her special charge: Culture and Charity.

Today, from Berlin, she runs her own AI company, Trimde AI at trimde.ai, and shows founders and small companies how to put AI to work. She has built software since 2011, beginning with the BARCELONA deluxe iPad app. It is the same job she has done throughout her career: taking something new and a little intimidating and making it understandable for people who are not technical. In April 2026 she was a panel speaker at the MQ Entrepreneurs Forum in Marbella.

In 2007 she founded the luxury city magazine Le CITY deluxe and became its publisher and CEO. Over twelve editions she took it from Barcelona to Madrid, Istanbul and Miami. The magazine won an Accésit (runner-up) for Publication of the Year at the AEEPP Awards in 2009. In 2011 its BARCELONA deluxe iPad app, launched in winter 2010/11, won Best Digital Publication at the AEEPP Awards in Madrid, and Claudia received the prize as CEO. Her DELUXE Agency became an official Apple developer in 2011. Her 2011 Istanbul media conference was covered by TRT Haber and Ülke TV. In 2012 she was a member of the AEEPP jury, and she told publishers at WAN-IFRA Frankfurt why the customer wants mobile. She also interviewed on camera: several Le CITY deluxe films credit “Interview by Claudia Trimde”, among them conversations with Kike Sarasola, Elena Barraquer and Carmen Posadas.

In 2002 she founded the Barcelona agency Blackout Station. In 2003 she was co-author and Creative Director of Barcelona Jumps! (Blackout Station, Barcelona), with David Escamilla.

She started in front of the camera: in 1999 she co-presented the Channel 4 games show BITS. She appeared as a dancer in the feature film Complicity (2000), presented the weekly fashion programme Líneas on Vía Digital (2001 to 2002) and appeared in a guest role in the Telecinco series Los Serrano (2004). Claudia holds an M.A. (Hons) from the University of Glasgow and completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at House of Om in Ubud in 2025. She speaks English, German and Spanish.
